Department of Environmental Sciences
In March 2012, the Louisiana Board Regents authorized the Department of Environmental Sciences to offer the PhD degree in Environmental Sciences. The PhD curriculum in Environmental Sciences is designed so that students will acquire substantial knowledge in a primary specialization area, develop breadth in the three priority areas, and conduct original research on an important environmental topic culminating in a publishable dissertation.
