Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship
The Forest Sciences program provides high quality education in forestry and related disciplines; develops knowledge through scholarly endeavors; and disseminates information to the profession, the public, and the community through service and outreach. This focus on forestry extends into the broader arena of natural resources and environmental sciences through collaboration across the college and university.
In the Forest Sciences discipline, you’ll conduct research on forest ecology, forest fire science, forest ecosystem management, forest economics, or natural resource policy. Develop a program of study with your advisor and graduate committee tailored to your background, research focus, future goals, and interests.
