The Master of Science in Biology provides students with advanced training in biological fields ranging from ecology, evolutionary biology and genomics to cancer biology, comparative physiology and molecular biology. World class research faculty that work with a wide variety of organisms including plants, animals and microbes prepare students for careers in industry or the private sector for students looking for a position right out of graduate school. In addition, those students who wish to pursue a PhD in Biology or other terminal degree often earn the MS in Biology first.
