Department of Biology
The Department of Biology is one of the largest academic departments at UT Arlington. It provides interdisciplinary educational opportunities and research collaborations, within the biological, mathematical, and physical sciences, and engineering. Our cross-disciplinary approach provides opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students to examine a variety of societal challenges in health and the human condition, sustainable communities, and global change.
Students are at the center of all that we do in the Department of Biology. As part of the largest department at UT Arlington, our diverse student groups engage in research and academics, and we offer several degree programs including an M.S. degree in Biology.
